For buddies golf trips
Plan the buddies golf trip without the group-text chaos
Twelve guys, three days, thirty-six holes a day — and one poor soul stuck herding it all over text. GolfTee collects the sign-ups, sets the daily pairings, and keeps a running leaderboard so the trip has a champion.
Sound familiar?
- The group text is 300 messages deep and you still can't say who's confirmed.
- Every night ends with someone re-doing tomorrow's pairings on a napkin.
- The weekend's over and the “who won the trip” argument starts because nobody kept score.
Early-interest signups before you book, one-tap claims once tee times are set, waitlist if it fills.
Balanced groups every round — scrambles, best ball, cart vs cart, or just golf. Drag to tweak.
Enter scores in seconds, standings rank automatically, and the winner gets a shareable champion card.
How it works
- 1Start the trip group
Add the crew by email. They're in with one tap — no apps to install on anyone's phone.
- 2Post each day's tee times
Everyone claims their spot; GolfTee handles pairings and reminders for every round.
- 3Crown the champion
Scores in, standings ranked, champion crowned — with a recap card made for the group text.
Common questions
Can we run the trip as a competition?
Yes. Attach the trip's rounds to a season, pick gross or net scoring, and GolfTee keeps live standings across all rounds and crowns a champion at the end.
What if people fly in and can't play every round?
No problem — members RSVP round by round, and pairings are built from whoever's actually in that day.
Do the guys need to download anything?
No. Everything works from an email link and the browser. Anyone who wants the app feel can add GolfTee to their home screen.
